• Goal amount can be selected from THB 100 to THB 500,000 (no interest rate will apply to the amount exceeding the limit).
• Choose your savings term of either 6 months or 12 months.
• No  deposit transfer fee (fees are subject to adjustment depending on KBank’s announcement).
• Each LINE BK customer can open up to 3 Special Rate Accounts

Interest Rate and Deposit Period

• Special interest rate only applies when the goal is reached (savings account   interest rate will be applied    if the goal is not achieved).
• 1.0%* per annual for 6 months.
• 1.5%* per annual for 12 months.

Deposit Channels  and Methods

• Deposits to Special Rate Account can be made    from LINE BK account or Linked KBank account in LINE BK.
• Deposits to Special Rate Account can be made via scheduled transfers or manual deposit in LINE BK.
• Deposits to   Special Rate Account can be made via all possible channels Kasikornbank provide.  
• Deposits to   Special Rate Account can be made via money transfer from any account.

 

Non-compliant deposit

In the case of non-compliant deposit describs below, the  balance earns a LINE BK Savings Account interest rate. No interest rate will apply to the amount exceeding   THB    500,000.

• Early termination will take effect if the following cases occur:
  • Monthly deposit is skipped for 2 months or more during the selected savings term.
  • Saving goal is not reached.
• Special Rate Account is closed by the customer prior to maturity

Eligibility

• Thai Nationality.
• LINE BK Savings Account or Linked KBank account required .

  On the LINE BK main screen, select the menu on the top left and select "Special Rate Account".

  Select "Open account".

  Step 3

  Select savings term and enter your goal amount, select acount to transfer deposits, and specify your savings objectives.

  Valify your identity with SMS OTP.

• 

  Step 5

  Review and confirm your information.

• 

  Step 6

  Accept Terms and Conditions.

• 

  Step 7

  Account opening completed.

A customer who has LINE BK Savings Account can have a maximum of 3 Special Rate Accounts.

1. What is the Special Rate Account and its benefits? 

The Special Rate Account is goal-based savings account. Customer can set goal and save with flexibility to receive special interest rate regarding selected term. 

• 6-Month period, receive a special interest rate of 1.0% per year*
• 12-Month period, receive a special interest rate of 1.5%  per year*
