LINE BK partnered with Aurora to offer the “Gold for Cash” service, Allowing clients to exchange gold for cash while those qualified through LINE OA will earn additional 2% credit from the gold appraised value

LINE BK, Thailand’s first social banking platform, has partnered with Aurora, a leading gold jewelry retail company, to offer LINE BK clients with “Gold for Cash” (Thong Ma Ngern Pai), a service for gold exchange for cash, in order to increase their access to financing. This collaboration combines the strengths of LINE BK, a leader in online lending services and Aurora’s expertise in retail gold business. From now until October 31, 2023, the service will be offered to a specific group of clients through the LINE Official Account of LINE BK, with an additional 2% credit from the gold appraised value when acquiring the gold pawn service at Aurora storefronts and “Gold for Cash” stores for the duration of the stated term.

LINE BK reveals its figures of 4.7 million users in the first half of 2022 aiming to develop AI to reach and expand quality customer base, preparing to launch new partners in the second half of the year to increase personal loans access for Thai people

LINE BK, the first Social Banking platform in Thailand, has revealed that the online financial transaction trend in Thailand is bursting through the world rankings, signalling the overall growth of the service in the first half of 2022. The number of LINE BK users has surpassed 4.7 million mark, with over 590,000 loan accounts, growing 81% Year on Year. The AI system is also being developed in order to reach target customers widely and accurately, while managing the customers’ portfolio in terms of both quantity and quality. In the second half of the year, the planned partnership and transaction feature updates will better respond the needs of Thai customers along with the ‘Banking in Your Hand’ concept.

LINE BK’s “Short of money? Get help through LINE” Increases Nano Credit market share to 6.8%

LINE BK’s music marketing campaign ‘Short of money? Get help through LINE’ has received resounding feedback. Loan applications increased by 20% and Nano Credit Line applicants have grown up to 6.8% market share. The song ‘Tee-peung-taang-LINE’ and the new advertising have succeeded in raising awareness through offline and online media, by reaching over 37 million of Thai people which are 56% of the total population.
